The Transit Visualization System™ (TVS) is a web-based passenger information system (PIS) that pushes modern technology to its limits. The TVS continuously displays the location of buses and animates their motion against a detailed map of recognizable buildings and landmarks familiar to riders and fleet administrators.
By providing constant visualization, the TVS can help riders choose when to arrive at bus stops while minimizing their wait. Additionally, administrators can understand their transit system with unprecedented clarity as the TVS enables them to perceive their fleet's behavior through depiction of the real-time motion, not just location, of their vehicles. This eye-in-the-sky view has the potential to revolutionize fleet operations while dramatically increasing ridership, rider perception, and rider satisfaction with mass transit.
TransLoc Inc. specializes in delivering information to riders and administrators of mass transit. We believe that our technology can make revolutionary strides in vehicle tracking and the conveyance of that information. It is TransLoc's goal to be the most innovative company in the Location Based Services (LBS) & Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) industries. Please contact us at info@transloc-inc.com to see how we can help your transportation organization achieve its goals.
Besides the interactive map, TVS is also available in two textual versions: TVS Text™ and TVS Mobile™. To learn more about these, please see this page.

The bus locations shown are generally around 5 seconds behind their current location. This difference can increase or decrease depending on many factors such as network traffic, network latency, CPU speed, and how many programs you are running.
The goal of TVS is to reduce your wait time down to minutes, not seconds! So assume that buses are slightly ahead of where they are shown and give yourself enough time to get to the stop.
Do not attempt to infer vehicle speed from the map animation. It is a visual aid only and may not reflect the real-life movement of the bus.

To deliver the best performance to all users, the TVS will pause if it detects that your computer is inactive for 15 minutes. Upon resuming, the TVS may take a few seconds updating the map.
During use of the TVS you may see the following message: "You are experiencing network connectivity problems." When this occurs your network connection is unable to connect to the Internet. This could be caused by a problem on your computer, in your network or at your ISP. When this happens the bus positions are no longer accurate as the TVS is unable to update them.
